Whole Horse Whole Rider Mini-Retreats—aka Pony Play Days
at the Stanley Indoor Arena, Stanley, NM • 3rd Saturday of the month through December
These day-long retreats have been such a huge success. Please consider joining us. Lynn brings 40 years of professional experience to the Pony Play Days and will offer tools for building holistic partnerships, confidence and communication between horse and human from the ground up.

No matter what level or discipline we ride, all are welcome. Lynn is very supportive and makes us feel so comfortable on or off our horses. She meets each of us and our horses where we are. THE PROCESS
We begin by letting the horses settle in the provided pens while we gather for introductions and intention setting for the day. This guided, unmounted portion helps participants connect with their own nervous system and bodies so that all are better prepared to be with their sensitive equine partners. Then Lynn includes the horses in an unmounted portion to help riders and horses focus in Stanley’s spacious arena.
At lunch we enjoy social time—sharing and story telling.
During the afternoon session participants begin customized riding. Depending on the needs of the group, Lynn organizes attendees to ride together or, because the arena is large, work in smaller individually focused groups. Mounted portions may include foundational exploration like breathing, tempo, transitions as well as more advanced movement like lateral work, trot and canter. Lynn meets participants and their horses where they are on that particular day.
Lynn brings the day to an organic close for each individual. Riders return the horses to their pens and circle up once more for closing shares of highlights, takeaways and assimilation of the day before hauling home.
Auditors welcome $30 with work/trade position available.
Being with Horses: A Practice in Presence
Join us for this gentle contemplative practice where we’ll play with slowing down and connecting in Nature and with Horses. Claim time to reconnect with your Authentic Self beyond the habits and “doing” of daily life with the support of these incredible creatures.

Centered Riding® Group Instruction
Would you like your riding to flow more? Lynn offers small group lessons with your horse, emphasizing Sally Swift’s universally beneficial concepts—breathing, centering, building blocks (balance), soft eyes, grounding, clear intent and consideration of “comparable parts”—suited for all disciplines.
